The mother of all Maya ruins, in the middle of the jungle. Tikal was one of the highlights on our trip! We got up at 3 a.m. and enjoyed the wake up of the jungle on the top of the highest Maya temple. It was a great experience to hear jaguars, howling monkeys and watching the rising sun in the horizon
